Meet PHQ Ambassador: Ethan Presley

A Program Built By and For Student-Athletes
The Prospect HQ Student Ambassador Program exists for one reason. We believe the people who understand the student-athlete experience best are student-athletes themselves. Our ambassadors are the connective tissue between our platform and the communities we serve. They shape how we show up on campus, and they bring real stories from real careers to athletes who are figuring out what comes next.
Ambassadors get hands-on experience in career development, networking, and personal branding. They build relationships with other athletes across the country who are navigating the same questions about life after sport. They also get a behind-the-scenes look at how a startup operates, which is its own kind of education.
This series is where we introduce the people doing that work. We want you to know who they are, what drives them, and what they're learning along the way.
Today, meet Ethan.
Introducing Ethan Presley

Tell us your name, school, sport, and graduation year.
Ethan Presley, Rhodes College, Football, Class of 2027
How would your teammates describe you in three words?
Tall, Friendly and Dedicated. The tall part is the first thing anyone notices, but I'd like to think the other two are what stick.
What is something people would be surprised to learn about you?
I'm actually related to Elvis Presley. It's a fun fact I don't always lead with, but it always gets a reaction.
What was your first job ever?
My first job was actually thanks to my parents. They paid me to feed our goats and chickens.
What do you think you want to do after graduation, and how certain are you really?
I'm going into the Army through ROTC, and afterwards I would love to work in the sports broadcasting world.
What is something about being a student-athlete people don't talk about enough?
The mental toughness you gain. People see the practices and the games, but they don't always see how much you're learning to push through when things aren't going your way. That part stays with you long after the season ends.
What is one skill from sports that translates to the real world?

Teamwork 100%. Almost nothing worth doing happens by yourself, and sports teach you early how to lean on the people around you and show up for them too.
What made you want to become a Prospect HQ Student Ambassador?
I can see the Prospect HQ vision and want to help share that with other athletes. The mentorship and opportunities feel endless, and being part of building something like this from the inside isn't an experience you come across every day.
What would you tell someone nervous to put themselves out there?
Take a chance. You never know what can happen when you put yourself out there. Sometimes that's all it takes.
Favorite hype song before a game?

Join the Prospect HQ Student Ambassador Program

If Ethan's story resonated with you, there's a good chance you'd find a home in the Prospect HQ Student Ambassador Program. We built it for athletes who want more than a roster spot on their resume, athletes who are ready to start building the skills, the network, and the confidence that carry into whatever comes after sport.
As an Ambassador, you'll connect with student-athletes across the country who are navigating the same transition you are. You'll get hands-on experience in career development, content, and community building, with real mentorship from people invested in where you're headed. And you'll help shape something from the inside.
Whether your post-grad plan is locked in or still taking shape, this is a chance to figure it out alongside people who get it.
