Prospect HQ is for past or present collegiate student-athletes seeking purpose, fulfillment and success — and for employers striving to elevate their culture and drive performance through hiring.

Is Prospect HQ free for student-athletes?

Yes! Creating your profile and connecting with employers is completely free. We believe every student-athlete deserves access to building a community and finding new opportunities.

Do I have to be a varsity athlete to join?

Nope! If you played one year of varsity, or all four years, you're welcome to join. Club, intramural, and independent athletes are absolutely welcome. Prospect HQ celebrates the athlete mindset– discipline, teamwork, and growth, not just the level of competition.

How is Prospect HQ reimagining the hiring process?

Prospect HQ is the antidote to the transactional, overwhelming, and dehumanizing nature of the job market. Our community-centric approach and focus on cultural fit enable us to align hires, elevate cultures, and transform lives. Can I still join if I’m not sure what career I want?

Do employers actually watch the videos?

Yes! Employers come to Prospect HQ because they want to see the real person behind the résumé. Your video helps them understand your drive, personality, and culture fit before the first interview.

What if I’m nervous to post videos?

Totally normal — everyone starts somewhere. We’ll guide you with prompts and examples to make it feel natural. Employers value authenticity more than polish, so being real always wins over being perfect.

And if you’re not ready to post publicly, that’s okay too. You can still build your community by commenting, sharing insights, and engaging with others. When you’re comfortable, you can record short 30-second elevator-pitch videos just for employers, which stay private between you and them.

Can I connect with other athletes?
